Temporary School Building Construction Begins!

We are building!

The first chunk of funding was sent for the temporary school building construction to begin. A temporary building is being built because we currently do not have the funding to build the permanent structure. The kids of this community do not have a functional building to meet at for school. This temporary building will serve as a smaller school classroom for the kids to attend.

This video was taken on January 28, 2020. The people of the village have been hired to begin construction of the dirt blocks that will serve as the wall structure for the temporary school building. As you can see, this is hard manual labor and takes time.

Most of these people working in this video are unemployed. The mission of Veronica's Helping Hands is not only to help build a school for the children of this community, but also help raise up the community and provide opportunities for employment.
